Blackview BV9800 series has really made a splash in the rugged phone market after its debut in Kickstarter last month. After it successfully raised staggering $532,928.62 for production on Kickstarter, it’s finally available on Blackview Website & AliExpress & Indiegogo.
Most people are fascinated by its thermal imaging function of the Blackview BV9800 Pro which lets you see, measure heat and take awesome IR pictures. Different from the traditional thermal camera, an attachment to the smartphone, Blackview integrates FLIR® Lepton® thermal imaging camera into the BV9800 Pro, so you can carry it with you wherever you go and take thermal pictures of cool things you see.
Today, Blackview makes a video to show you how to make those thermal pictures. The operation is very simple, similar to the normal camera. Just tap the MyFLIR app on the device to get started. It supports Photo, Video, YouTube Live (for live stream), Time-lapse four modes. When you get it started, you can see a visual image of minute temperature differences, day or night.
The MyFLIR app also allows you to thermally tune level and span, adjust parameters, and much more. To be specific, the shape of a cross, as shown in the video, displays the spot temperature, and it can be moved to detect the temperature of different points. The shape of a square can measure the average temperature of the enclosed area which can be reduced or enlarged in equal proportion.
And there are 9 different color palettes for optional. Generally, the “Icon” color scheme is the most commonly used one. But don’t worry about what color mode you are in. You can always go back and change the colors after you take a picture.
Well, at this point, most people might think the Blackview BV9800 Pro is a cool device to play with. But it’s not designed for fun actually (it would work well however if you want). It’s very useful in outdoor as well as home use. For example, use it to look for animals (or people) in the woods even on the darkest night; detect leaks, pipes, thermal insulation problems, hot wires and cool stuff like that in a building. The users would find more useful uses according to their needs.
