In August last year, Motorola introduced the Moto Z3. Now, the Z3 smartphone starts to get the Android 9.0 Pie update. This announcement will come in the hands of the Moto Z3 owners within a week or two.
If you do not receive an update notification, you can manually verify the update by clicking on Settings > About Phone > System Update menu.
Once the update has been downloaded on your device, you will need to restart your device so that the Android 9.0 Pie upgrade will be installed. The upgrade has more than 1GB, so you need to download it over a Wi-Fi connection.
Motorola has announced it will have at least 50% battery for its users to download the update. In addition, the device comes with January monthly security features.
The Android Pie update offers many features, most importantly, adaptive battery, screen brightness, navigation gestures, simplified sound control, revamped split screen, and advanced DNT mode. You can learn more about the Android 9.0 Pie update features by checking this link here.
